Aurora Rising

The first fully functional machine, capable of reproduction, ended Book I of the Telefax Trilogy by mating with a person. Is this a Frankenstein monster? The consequences of this union are explored in Book II, Aurora Rising, where we are introduced to Aurora, the first half-machine/half-being. Is she a new form of life or a dangerous creation? Amidst the chaos, a refugee named Yon arrives on the scene. Yon has rejected the mainstream culture of the galaxy in favor of living a more natural life as a member of Samerac. His unique gene pool, which combines Samerac and Zanton heritage, adds another layer of complexity to the already volatile situation. How will Yon's presence affect the ongoing conflict between the different factions within the galaxy?
